Senior Software Engineer

Job Summary:

NIKE, Inc. is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to develop, code, configure, and test programs and systems that align with digital product specifications. The role involves building scalable applications that utilize advanced analytics and machine learning solutions to drive impactful business decisions. This position also focuses on integrating new technologies, evolving existing platforms, and contributing to the development of core analytics and machine learning platforms.

Roles and Duties:

• Develop robust advanced analytics and machine learning solutions.
• Design and build scalable software applications leveraging prediction models and optimization programs.
• Assess well-defined problems and develop technical solutions aligned with architectural standards.
• Implement and integrate new technologies into existing platforms.
• Contribute to machine learning platforms and tools focused on consumer data.
• Develop software solutions that solve machine learning problems at scale.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer and Information Science, or a related field.
• 2 years of experience in a related engineering role.
• Proficiency in:
  • JavaScript
  • Node.js
  • Python
  • CI/CD using Jenkins
  • AWS Lambda, Step Functions, API Gateway
  • NoSQL data stores (e.g., DynamoDB)
  • SQL data stores (e.g., MySQL)
  • Kafka, AWS OpenSearch
  • Terraform, Docker Containers
  • Software Design Patterns and Data Structures
• Telecommuting available from anywhere in the U.S. (except in certain states).
